I'm excited to be included in an exhibition at my alma mater, Boston University, celebrating 60 years of the School of Visual Arts. I'm even more excited to be able to go to the opening and reconnect with everyone at BU.
October 24–December 14: Convergence: 60th Anniversary Alumni Show

In celebration of the College of Fine Arts 60th Anniversary, the School of Visual Arts presentsConvergence, its first large-scale alumni exhibition in Boston University’s 808 Gallery. Featuring the work of over 100 alumni spanning the full history of the school, this juried exhibition presents a sweeping picture of the school’s legacy and impact. The exhibition is held as part of CFA’s 60th Anniversary programming.
I'm excited to say that I will be leaving Sydney for a bit. I've been accepted to the The League Residency at Vyt in Sparkill, NY with a Distinguished Artist Scholarship for an 8 week residency starting this September. Click here to learn more about Vyt.
It will be nice to spend some time on the Hudson, but also have easy access to the city.
They host Open Studio events once a month and provide a free shuttle from NYC to the residency. More news on exact dates and shuttle times for Open Studios as the date approaches.

Trestle Gallery is pleased to present the Small Works of twenty three artists. This annual exhibition focuses on the complex nature of smaller compositions. Each piece is contained within 12 inches vertically, horizontally, and three dimensionally. This show will take you through a range of works; from loud complex patterns and textures, to quiet grey scale compositions with simplified color. Sculptural rustic surfaces and tones are complemented by painterly clean blacks and whites. The diverse nature of subject matter demonstrates the inti- mate capabilities of smaller works of art.
